GP2Y0D310K 10cm Digital Sharp Sensor

GP2Y0D310K is an optic distance measuring sensor which is produced by Sharp. The sensor contains an infrared LED, an infrar4ed receiver and a signal processing circuit. It uses the principle of reflection of an infrared light from different surfaces. The sensor gives an output of logic 1 level if there is an object within it's range. So it can be used as a proximity sensor.
