Notify me when its in stockThe HY-SRF05 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor is an ultrasonic distance sensor operating in the range of 2cm to 450cm. They are used for distance measurement and presence detection. It is powered by a voltage of 5V. The output is a signal whose duration is proportional to the distance being measured. They provide distance measurement regardless of the color and illumination of obstacles. This model is higher precision, it is a higher model of HC-SRO4 Proximity Sensor.
HY-SRF05 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor; It can measure distance from 2mm to 4.5cm with 2mm precision. It tries to send ultrasonic waves with the Transmitter Transducer, and if there is an object standing in front of it, it reflects the sounds and captures it with the receiver transducer. In order to operate the sensor, we must first apply a 5V pulse of 10us duration to the Trig pin. Then the sensor will transmit 8 ultrasonic pulses at 40KHz (above human hearing) with the transmit transducer. Meanwhile, if the Echo pin is high and the sound waves are reflected back, the Echo pin will be low and a pulse is generated which is used to calculate the distance. If the sound waves do not reflect back, after 38ms the echo pin turns low and generates a pulse which means there is no object in front of the sensor.
Ultrasonic sensors are widely used in daily life. They are also frequently preferred in the industrial sense. Below you can see some usage areas.
Yeah. Ultrasonic distance sensors can detect solid objects without holes. They are not affected by the color, shape and transparency of the objects.
