ISD1820 Recording Module Voice Board with Mic
The ISD1820 Recording Module Sound Card is the easy way to add sound recording to your project. The module can be operated directly using 3 buttons or with any microcontroller (eg Arduino). There is a microphone directly on the board and you can connect any 8 ohm speaker. Thanks to non-volatile storage in the ISD1820, your recordings are saved even when there is no power. This module uses the ISD1820 audio recording and playback IC to record a single voice message of up to 10 seconds in length. The recorded message is stored in a dedicated analog flash memory that will keep the message even when the power is turned off. The module has an electret microphone to record your message and buttons to allow the message to be recorded, partially played or fully played. Header pins interface easily to the microcontroller and playback can be controlled with just one digital pin.
